With a new year, another Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is in the books. CES 2020 had a wide variety of new and emerging technologies on display for you, with an impressive array of active noise canceling (ANC) earphones on display as alternatives to Apple's new bestselling AirPod Pros, several which are CES Innovation Award honorees. Many of the models on display featured stiff competitive properties, going head-to-head with Apple in either performance, battery life, water resistance, price point or a combination of two or more of these properties. The following list of outstanding audio products represents just a sample of the innovative and anticipated new earphones you can expect to see coming to a market near you this year.

1. Klipsch T10 True Wireless

Klipsch's new flagship wireless earbuds feature a smaller than normal earbud profile, active noise cancellation, six-hour battery life for your convenience, remote controls for smartphones and installed apps, the thinnest charging case on the market, AI and gesture control. While specifics on the AI system are not yet available, the Klipsch headphones' AI system is embedded into a proprietary operating system. The T10's retail price is listed at $649 and will be available for you to buy in the fall.

2. Klipsch T5 ANC

Klipsch rolled out T5 wireless earbuds in July 2019, it received numerous praise since the released (For sale on Amazon). This year, Klipsch announced the upgraded version T5 True ANC earbuds. This model also features several different sized ear tips for a perfect personal fitting, active noise cancellation, AI in a proprietary operating system and gesture control. When inactive noise cancellation mode, the battery lasts you for six hours, while in non-active noise cancellation playback allows for eight hours of battery use; when using the charging case at its full capacity, however, anywhere from 18-24 hours of battery power are available for your portable convenience. The T5 ANC earphones will be available to buy in fall 2020 with a retail price of $299. Additionally, a "rugged"/sports model of the T5, with advanced water resistance for your workout convenience, will also be available later in the year for $229, also available with wireless charging.

3. Jabra Elite Active 75t

Designed with the active user in mind, Jabra's new Elite Active 75t earphones feature a smaller profile, improved audio quality and longer battery life than previous models. Additionally, Jabra has added a special coating for easier control (an especially helpful feature in moisture- and sweat-heavy places like gyms and outdoor fitness areas) and a charging case. This new headphone concept also features hearing assistance tech that calibrates the earphones to your personal needs; you can also use onboard controls to only use one earphone at a time. Battery life is reported at approximately five hours on a single charge, with an additional two charges stored in the portable charging case for your convenience. The Jabra Elite Active 75t is available for you to buy at approximately mid-year in 2020, and retails for $199. Both Best Buy and Amazon have exclusive earphone color options.

4. Ausounds Hybrid ANC

Another promising new product from CES 2020 was Ausounds' Innovation Award-winning earphone option for active noise canceling, which they refer to as a hybrid system. The AU-Stream Hybrid ANC earphones feature the same ANC system as their over-ear headphone option, the AU-X, as well as 24-hour battery life and charging case for your convenience. The earphones connect with Bluetooth 5.0 and have an active device range of 32 feet. The earphones also feature 13mm titanium drivers, a frequency response range of 20 Hz - 20 kHz, impedance of 9 ohms, and a sound pressure level (SPL) of 100dB. The AU-Stream Hybrids will be available for you to buy at the beginning of February for a retail price of $189.

5. 1More True Wireless ANC
